Otterspool Adventure to host Liverpool’s largest ice rink this Winter
3 months ago
Otterspool Adventure, home to the much-loved North Pole Experience, is making this festive season bigger than ever with the launch of Otterspool On Ice — Liverpool’s biggest real ice rink.
Usually only accessible as part of The North Pole Experience, Otterspool’s glistening rink will, for the first time, be open to the public on select dates throughout December and January. Families, friends, couples, and groups can now book standalone skating sessions and enjoy 45 minutes on the ice against the stunning backdrop of Liverpool’s waterfront.
Tickets are priced at just £12 per adult, £10 per child, or £40 for a family of four. Every ticket includes skate hire, with optional penguin skating aids available for younger children and helpful staff on hand to ensure a safe, magical experience.
Set within the grounds of Otterspool Adventure, the rink has long been a highlight of the North Pole Experience — a Christmas wonderland featuring Santa’s Grotto, Mother Christmas’ Kitchen, the Elf Workshop, and more. By opening it to the public for the very first time, Otterspool Adventure is giving even more people the chance to experience the joy of skating at Liverpool’s largest ice rink.

Steven Cosgrove Director at Otterspool Adventure said:
“Every year, families come to us for the North Pole Experience and make magical memories on our rink. This year, we’re excited to open Liverpool’s biggest ice rink to everyone, whether you’re here for a family outing, a festive date night, or simply a spin on the ice.”
Otterspool Adventure will also be offering special SEN sessions, designed with reduced music, softer lighting, and a calmer feel — perfect for those who may feel overwhelmed by the hustle and bustle of the season. Keep your eyes peeled for the release of these tickets.
