Pho on Castle Street to offer free ‘hangover cure’ on busiest week of the year this Christmas
12 months ago
Pho will give away 50 complimentary bowls of hangover-blasting phở at their Liverpool restaurant, on 13 December.
Vietnamese street-food restaurant, Pho on Castle Street, is helping cure the office Christmas party ‘hangxiety’ during one of the most hungover weeks of the year.
The one-day offer will cater to all hangover needs from the office Christmas party the night before, such as reducing headaches, nausea, and tiredness and guests will be ‘prescribed’ an order of phở and instead of reaching for the usual fix, it’s time to switch it up with something that will leave party-goers feeling better in the long run.
Pho is loved for its delicious twelve-hour broths and variety of Vietnamese street food including crispy baby squid, fresh summer rolls, decadent curries and the star of the menu, their extensive phở menu including classic Beef Brisket Noodle Soup, Super Green Soup and King Prawn Curry Noodle Soup.
Managing to walk a fine line of being both hearty enough to satisfy your hangover hunger, and light enough not to destroy your already hungover stomach, phở acts as the ultimate hangover-curing meal.
Vietnam’s national dish has been shown to have numerous health benefits not only from its base of a twelve-hour bone broth and use of fresh herbs and spices but just the right balance of carbohydrates, protein and those all-important vegetables.
According to Healthline, the benefits go as far as reducing inflammation, boosting the immune system and providing essential nutrients and minerals.
Libby Andrews, Marketing Director of Pho, said:
“For many years our customers and staff have raved about our soups as their go-to hangover cure. During the Christmas party season, there is no better way to replenish and refuel when you’re feeling a bit worse for wear.”
For those who miss the offer, Pho offers a ‘hangover cure meal’ on Deliveroo, which includes Spicy Beef Pho (Vegan option available),with Crispy Pork Spring Rolls and a Coke.
