Rude, the UK’s largest gentlemen’s club – launches Rude Girl Studio for fitness and self confidence classes

Rude, the UK’s largest gentlemen’s club, has expanded with the launch of a new premium pole studio for fitness, self confidence, mixed ability and contemporary pole dance classes, with no experience needed.

Co-owner and lead pole dancer, choreographer and performer, Enya Torres will be teaching the classes, giving all abilities the chance to sharpen their skills on the poles.

Pole dancing is renowned for being a full body workout, combining resistance and cardio training in one. Using an incredible amount of strength, pole dancing pushes your body to the limit as you suspend your weight or propel it around the pole.

Now open, Rude Girl Studio is offering a range of classes from Monday-Friday including beginner classes, confidence boosting with everyone motivating each other, as well as mixed ability classes, contemporary pole dancing, stretch and flex and 1-2-1 coaching sessions to push you out of your comfort zone.

Owned by Amy Gwynn, the female entrepreneur behind Rude, Rude Girl Studio will give those taking part confidence, helping them find their sass whilst creating a community of like-minded, motivating women.

Since breaking into the mostly male dominated adult entertainment industry, Amy has been hailed for changing the face of the industry for the better and pioneering a new kind of gentleman’s club, one where the women are in control and where they can celebrate their bodies on their own terms.

Amy works closely with Enya at Rude where she is the lead pole dancer to create a studio where all girls will feel welcome and celebrated. Enya is passionate about empowering women, helping them gain confidence and create a “girls toilets on a night out” kind of atmosphere.

She explained: “There are so many instructors out there who can teach you how to hang upside down but I wanted to create more than that. The girls coming to the classes will lift each other up, just as so many women do when they meet for the first time on a night out. I want to nurture the next generation of fit, healthy, happy and super confident women, who feel empowered and ready to take over the world, both inside and outside of the studio.”

On creating Rude Girl Studio, Amy explained: “I’m so excited that Rude Girl Studio is now open. We’ve been working so hard on this behind the scenes, from the interior to ensuring there are classes for everyone.

It was important for me to keep the studio very much in line with the famous Rude Girl decor as this really is an extension of the values we have created within the club. I believe the studio is beautifully designed with the great knowledge of a dancer’s needs. It’s fresh, exciting with of course a hint of pink and black.

“I feel it’s so important to invest back into the dancing industry and be able to welcome other girls into our exciting world. We have gone above and beyond to ensure that we are providing the absolute best facilities for the people taking our classes. We have not cut corners on anything to ensure that we’re creating something that not only looks gorgeous, but ensures an all round safe, comfortable and enjoyable environment. From our crash mats, to our sound system, I really believe we have thought about absolutely everything.

“Enya is an incredible teacher and has a plethora of experience that she’ll bring to the studio with both beginner, mixed ability and specialist classes that will push our girls to the limit!

Spins, stretches, splits, upside down tricks and all the sass that you can imagine will fill the studio each week and we can’t wait to build an empowering and supportive community of confident females!”
