Great family day out
There’s nowhere better for a fabulous family day out because there’s so much to see and do from a sightseeing tour of the city, a visit to Buckingham Palace, a trip to the Tower of London, a stroll through St James’ Park or a river cruise along the Thames. There’s the Science Museum, London Transport Museum, London Zoo … and you’d be surprised how much you can fit in in a day.
Gigs in London including BST Hyde Park

London’s summer gig programme is massive with everything from intimate concerts to festivals and major shows at places like the Albert Hall and Wembley Arena. And don’t forget the amazing outdoor festival that is British Summer Time in Hyde Park with headliners including Garth Brooks, Maroon 5, Lewis Capaldi, Duran Duran and loads of special guests.
Theatre shows like Wicked, Paddington or Devil Wears Prada
You can’t beat London for a trip to the theatre because there’s so many shows to see from musicals and drama to comedy and mystery – and many with famous faces you’ve only ever seen before on the telly. You can catch Vanessa Williams in Devil Wears Prada, Strictly’s Johannes Radebe in Kinky Boots, Stephen Mangan and Ardal O’Hanlon in The Truth, and Sam Ryder in Jesus Christ Superstar.
South Parkway

The new stop at Liverpool South Parkway means you don’t need to head into the city centre to board the mainline service. On weekdays and Saturdays, a new frequent service connects to London on one of 170 trains that are scheduled to stop at the station (which has parking, handy drop-off and pick-up points, and bike storage) every week.
