Shiverpool to host a special Spooky Dog Walk in partnership with Hector’s Greyhound Rescue

Calling all ghost lovers and dog owners! Hector’s Greyhound Rescue is teaming up with Liverpool’s award-winning ghost tour specialists, Shiverpool, for a one-of-a-kind dog-friendly event that you won’t want to miss.

For the first time ever, Shiverpool is adapting their famous haunted history tours just for our four-legged friends, offering a spooky group dog walk with a chilling twist.

Explore the haunted streets of Liverpool, uncover spine-tingling tales of the past, and wander through the historic graveyards of Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral. This bespoke event promises to be an unforgettable evening for you and your furry companions, with a carefully crafted tour designed to keep tails wagging and spines tingling.

It’s important to note that Shiverpool typically doesn’t allow dogs on their tours due to the nature of the performance (with the exception of guide dogs). So, this is truly a special, one-off event, giving you a unique opportunity to bring your pets along for some haunted fun!

But that’s not all – Hector’s Greyhound Rescue is hosting a fancy dress competition for both dogs and children.

Get creative with your costumes and you could win prizes for the best-dressed pups and kids! All it takes is a £5 donation on the day to enter, and every penny will help support Hector’s Greyhound Rescue’s important work. Plus, professional photographers will be on hand to capture the spooky fun.

• Time: Tour starts at 4:30pm (arrive by 4:20pm) – 6:00pm
• Location: Meeting point at Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral Square, Mount Pleasant

Ticket Prices:

• Adult (+1 dog): £20
• Child (must be accompanied by an adult): £18
• Couple (2 adults + up to 2 dogs): £35
• Family (2 adults, 2 children, 2 dogs): £70

All ticket proceeds go directly to Hector’s Greyhound Rescue, helping us continue to rescue and re-home greyhounds in need.
