The Salvation Army’s Strawberry Field Liverpool centre has been awarded a Tripadvisor Traveller’s Choice award for 2026, placing it in the top 10% of things to do worldwide.
Strawberry Field is one of Liverpool’s most loved attractions, offering a rich history to explore alongside beautiful gardens and peaceful surroundings.
The Traveller’s Choice distinction recognises the most loved and highest rated experiences and attractions around the world, based on millions of Tripadvisor reviews and ratings from the world’s largest travel guidance platform, and its global community.
Real-life traveller insights are collected over a 12-month period and used to determine the winners of these awards, confirming that Strawberry Field has made a real, positive impression on its visitors over the past year, amassing hundreds of five-star reviews on the platform.

Home to an interactive exhibition, garden, café and gift shop, visitors can explore the place that inspired The Beatles hit song ‘Strawberry Fields Forever’. Every pound spent at Strawberry Field funds the Salvation Army’s work within the community, supporting young adults facing barriers to employment into paid work and brighter futures.
Major Michelle Lovegrove-Huggins, Mission Director at Strawberry Field, said:
“We are thrilled to be awarded Traveller’s Choice 2026 by Tripadvisor, and grateful to our visitors who have taken the time to review us. Strawberry Field prides itself on offering visitors a warm welcome and a unique, memorable visit.”
“This award is a recognition of the dedication each member of staff has for visitor experience and for imparting the message of community, positivity, and love that Strawberry Field is founded on.”

Tripadvisor’s Traveller’s Choice awards have been awarding the best experiences and destinations globally since 2002, recognising commitment to hospitality excellence.
The site helped Liverpool take the third-place spot in Tripadvisor’s 2026 Traveller’s Choice: Top UK Destinations, just behind London and Edinburgh, making it the highest-ranked non-capital city in the UK.
