Penhaligon are teaming up with The Art School for an exquisite evening of fine food, drink and company infused with their luxury scents.
Chef Patron Paul Askew and his team are getting ready for a wonderful event at The Art School in The Lantern Room on Thursday 6th November.
Paul says:
“We’re all thrilled to be welcoming this iconic leader in fragrance back to The Art School. Blending gastronomy with scent will create a unique evening for our guests, curated around sensorial delights. Enhancing our senses with food and scent is an area we are developing with Penhaligon’s, and during this special evening each course will be introduced with a specific fragrance to compliment the dish – this is something new and very exciting to be working on.”

The evening begins with champagne and canapés in The Art School Cellars, followed by a 5-course dinner with a 5-wine pairing and a fragrance introduced to compliment to each course. There’s also an exclusive Penhaligon’s gift and bottle engraving on site for purchases. The evening will also feature both classic and new fragrances available for guests to try and buy.
So as autumn grows closer and the season’s shift continues, The Art School prepares for this unique event with Penhaligon’s, a British perfumery established in 1870 by William Penhaligon. Originating as a barbershop, Penhaligon’s offered its first fragrance in 1872, Hammam Bouquet. The fragrance was inspired by the neighbouring Turkish Bath and its sulfurous steam. They are now one of the premier names in luxury perfumes, bath, body and men’s grooming products.
