Set to make August bank holiday weekend one to remember, Royal Albert Dock Liverpool has announced a spectacular programme that will delight visitors of all ages.

From the return of Liverpool’s blue and yellow submarine, complete with DJ sets and deep-sea dancers, to captivating Punch and Judy shows, Royal Albert Dock will be the place to be this weekend.

From 12pm-7pm on Saturday 26th and 1pm-5pm on Sunday 27th August, the iconic submarine sound station – a continuing statement of Liverpool’s solidarity with Ukraine – is returning to the Martin Luther King Jr Plateau. Creating the ultimate outdoor dance floor in partnership with Kazimier and Invisible Wind Factory, visitors can expect performances from talented musicians, DJs and dancers.

With WMNKND and Shenice also returning to the decks after unforgettable sets at Pride. Plus, House of Aquatopia will be showcasing their electrifying dance moves, featuring floating jellyfish, dancing crabs and a voguing octopus.

Those looking to entertain their little ones can head to Anchor Courtyard for free puppet performances by Will Cousins. Continuing his run of the pantomime-inspired Punch and Judy shows, join Will and his collection of slap-stick characters on the 25th, 26th, 27th and 28th of August for rip-roaring laughter, plenty of “it’s-behind-yous” and a tasty string of sausages.
