The iconic Italian Club Fish returns as new trader in Duke Street Market
34 minutes ago

Duke Street Food and Drink Market is set to welcome a beloved name in Liverpool’s food scene, as Club Fish joins its collection of independent kitchens from 3 March.
Following the closure of The Italian Club Fish on Bold Street in January, ex-Head Chef Marco Muscedere and manager Tom Basham have taken it upon themselves to revive the iconic brand, blending their experience from the much-loved restaurant with a fresh new concept.
More than just a new vendor, Club Fish represents the continuation of a Liverpool institution. Known for its commitment to exceptional seafood, the restaurant was a staple on Bold Street for years, and now, thanks to Marco and Tom, its legacy will live on at Duke Street Market.
General manager Anne Murphy said:
“We are very excited to welcome Club Fish to Duke Street Market. This is an incredible opportunity for an established and beloved kitchen to showcase its expertise in an environment that celebrates quality, creativity, and community. Marco and Tom’s passion for great food and dedication to keeping the brand alive is truly inspiring, and we can’t wait for our guests to experience it.”

Unlike its Bold Street predecessor, the new Club Fish concept will focus exclusively on seafood, offering a carefully curated menu that showcases the freshest ingredients and bold Mediterranean flavours.
There will also be one daily pasta special, allowing diners to enjoy a taste of Club Fish’s signature dishes in a new, more casual setting.
The family behind The Italian Club Fish have given their full support, recognising that Marco and Tom were integral to the restaurant’s success and are perfectly placed to carry its legacy forward.
From 3 March, seafood lovers can head to Duke Street Market to experience Club Fish’s exciting new menu.
Whether you were a long-time fan of The Italian Club Fish or are discovering it for the first time, this is a must-visit for food lovers in the city.
Get ready for top-tier seafood, innovative dishes, and the same passion for quality that made Club Fish a Liverpool favourite.
