The Style Award winners are revealed at Ladies Day 2025
1 hour ago
Fabulously-dressed racegoers were lining up as soon as the gates opened at Aintree to walk down the pink carpet and take part in this year’s Ladies Day Style Awards.
Judges Natasha Jonas, the Guide’s Gemma Cutting and fashion writer Emily Sleight definitely had the toughest task of the day. But after more than four hours of photos and some incredible outfits there could only be three winners chosen to be the Best Dressed and Most Sustainably Dressed for 2025 – and that included a very stylish man!
Katie Morris and Lucas Nurney were named as the two Best Dressed winners, with Rachel Ellis announced as Most Sustainably Dressed.
Katie looked absolutely beautiful in a strapless monochrome polka dot dress from Babyboo Fashion topped with a wide-brimmed black hat from Vinted, and Lucas chose a sharp double-breasted dark red suit from ASOS.
Excited to be selected from so many hundreds of entries, Katie revealed that she’d promised at the start of the day to share her prize with her friends if she won. “I’m going to have to get them all pairs of shoes now!” she laughed.
Rachel was stunning in florals, especially a wow hat which, as she told Gemma, she made a few years ago for her niece who worked at Kew Gardens studying bees and insects. She perfectly paired that with a tea dress by Nobody’s Child, made from recycled fabrics and bought from Vinted, and a bold red lip bag.
As winners of this year’s Best Dressed Award, Katie and Lucas will leave Aintree with a fabulous prize package.
They’ll both take home a £3,000 voucher from Official Style Partner River Island, a pair of Garden Club tickets to Ladies Day at the Randox Grand National Festival 2026, a Randox Health full body Everyman or Everywoman package – and, if all that wasn’t enough, they’ll each receive additional River Island gifts worth £1,000.
Rachel, winner of the Most Sustainably Dressed award, picked up a prize including a £1,000 River Island voucher, two Garden Club tickets to Ladies Day at the Randox Grand National Festival 2026, hospitality for two at any Aintree Racecourse fixture this year plus a bonus of River Island gifts worth £1,000.
Don’t forget, if you weren’t able to get to Aintree today to take part in the Style Awards in person, or you weren’t one of the lucky three on the course, you can still enter Your Raceday, Your Style for a chance to win 2026 Grand National hospitality and a luxury hotel stay.
