Speke Hall

Thing are going to get eggs-citing at the National Trust’s popular Tudor mansion house with an Easter Trail from March 28 to April 12, along with loads of fun, family-friendly activities celebrating the joys of Easter and springtime.
For the trail, you’ll follow a map across the gardens and grounds and, once you’ve finished, you can hop over to Bunnies’ Burrow (open Wednesday – Sunday, 11am-4pm) to collect a well-earned chocolate treat!

Liverpool Football Club invites guests of all ages to enjoy the Easter holidays from 29th March to 10th April. Visitors can enjoy a range of family-friendly activities including arts and crafts, themed scavenger hunts and face painting as they explore the iconic home of the Reds.

Available from Friday 3rd April to Monday 6th April, this year’s celebrations are centred around the Golden Easter Egg – a handcrafted dessert designed to end any meal on a high. Each guest who orders the dessert will receive a golden envelope for the chance to win a £50 gift voucher to spend at San Carlo.

All the fun of the fair’s back at the Exhibition Centre Liverpool for Easter and, as always, you can look forward to all the best rides and attractions under one roof from the dodgems and the waltzers, to an inflatable slide, bungee trampolines, the funhouse and more. There’s also a café … and look out for quiet sessions too. It’s there from Saturday, March 28 until Sunday, April 12.

Epstein Theatre – The Wizard of Oz

Follow Dorothy and her trusty dog Toto as a magical tornado whisks them away from Kansas to the vibrant and mysterious Land of Oz in this latest production from Regal Entertainments.
Expect jaw-dropping scenery, glittering costumes, toe-tapping musical numbers, and belly-laughs galore—all wrapped up in the classic panto magic that Regal is known for. From April 3-9.

Legendary DJ Greg Wilson at Gloria’s

With an incredible 50 years under his belt, Greg Wilson is one of the most revered DJs on the scene and for Easter Sunday he’s touching down at Gloria’s to bring the long weekend to an a truly epic climax.
The intimate and pulsating Liverpool club will host Greg as he segues through his palette of genre-spanning sounds, encompassing disco, house, funk and soul as part of his trademark electrifying sets. This is a free party at Gloria’s for the city’s party people arriving before midnight.
Greg has many accolades to his name. A true UK pioneer, he was the first DJ to demonstrate mixing live on British TV, appearing on Channel 4’s ‘The Tube’ in 1983, the same year in which he’d show a young Norman Cook (aka Fatboy Slim) how to cut and scratch, to his landmark 2009 Radio 1 Essential Mix, later chosen as one of the top 10 ever mixes.
And the best part? Free entry until midnight!

John Lewis at Liverpool ONE

Join a hands-on Easter Floral Arranging workshop and learn how to create a stunning bouquet at John Lewis. Guided by a professional florist, you’ll explore different stem shapes and heights using seasonal flowers freshly sourced from the flower market and after the session, you can proudly take your arrangement home.
Suitable for beginners aged 16+, the one-hour workshop costs £30 and includes all materials, and you get a free glass of fizz. It’s on Thursday, March 26, at 3pm – 4pm & 5.30pm – 6.30pm.

Everton Women take on Liverpool Women in a Barclays Women’s Super League clash on Saturday 28 March, with kick-off at 12pm. Families can expect live music, face painting, balloon twisters and an Easter arts and crafts table, while younger fans will also be able to meet the Easter Bunny, who’ll be making the rounds handing out free chocolate eggs.

Wirral Easter Beer Festival

A cracking time is promised at the 21st Wirral Easter Beer Festival being held at Hulme Hall, between Wednesday, April 1 to Sunday, April 5.
There’ll be more than 200 beers including 80 real ales and 80 craft beers, as well as Continental lagers, ciders and a gin bar and entertainment across all sessions.
