This is what to expect from a Camp and Furnace quiz night

Which Liverpool venue is celebrating its 10^th anniversary and is famous for its fab and fun quizzes?

There are no prizes for guessing it’s city favourite Camp and Furnace and, while it might be a decade old, the party is only just getting started!

The Baltic Triangle venue has loads of different themed quizzes lined up for the next few months that you can book tickets for now.

And you don’t need us to tell you they get filled up fast.

“Our themed quiz nights are just the best nights, the ultimate and typical scouse party night,” says Camp and Furnace events manager Dana Heard. “The hosts are incredible, there’s loads of banter with the crowd, and plenty of silly – and great – prizes.”

Dana adds: “Above everything else, the nights are really light-hearted, no-one takes themselves seriously, there’s dancing on the tables and everyone can let their hair down and have a good time.

“It’s 10 years on, and the fun is just going to keep getting ramped up!”

March will see a trio of quizzes happening at Camp and Furnace. Pulp Friction will test your Tarantino knowledge, The Rocky Horror Picture Show quiz will not only be testing your knowledge, but your voice too and the Ya Nan’s Big Quiz needs no introduction!

“All our quizzes are digital quizzes and people just download the app to their phones on the night,” adds Dana. “It’s means we don’t waste time marking paper sheets, and there’s always something going on; and it means we know if no-one has got a question right or who was fastest finger on the button, and which teams are in the lead – it’s great to have all that at our fingertips, and it gives us an edge.”

For the rest of 2022, Camp and Furnace will be bringing its other popular quizzes back, like its Friends themed quiz, its Gavin and Stacey quiz and a US Office quiz too.

“Of course we won’t be just posing the questions, as well as the quizzes, there’ll be games, challenges, dance-offs and karaoke-offs and our own version of Heads Up. There’ll be themed cocktails and the prizes will all be linked too.”

In April, the famous I Love Music quiz will be returning, as well as a Vampire Diaries quiz and Quizzitch, which is about all things Harry Potter.

“It’s a combination of a general quiz that people love to come to at Camp and Furnace, and a party with an atmosphere that’s second to none.

“Our team works endlessly to come up with creative events that offer show-stopping moments, and we’re always thinking how to make it better. We don’t want people to just have a night out, we want them to have an experience.”
