This week in Liverpool – 16 things for you to do in the city over the next few days

This week in Liverpool we have lots of new events, days out, tasty food and hopefully even more sunshine for you to enjoy!

We’re having a heatwave! Well, it’s definitely got a lot stickier and we can’t sleep so that’s pretty much the same. It feels like a good time to get out either somewhere nice and air-conditioned or where you can chill with the option of a bit of shade.

If you’re looking for places to go, in or out of the sun, here are 16 things to do around Liverpool this week …

Enjoy Free Flowing Fizz at Dash on Victoria Street

There aren’t many nicer ways to cool off than with chilled fizz, so if that sounds like the best plan head to Dash from 3-7pm on Fridays and 12-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays where you can get two Asian-inspired small plates plus 90 minutes of free-flowing prosecco or a choice of speciality cocktails for £35.

One of the city’s best loved proper pubs, the Denbigh Castle on Hackins Hey, just off Tithebarn Street, has the perfect combination of a really nice crowd, a great selection of German, cask and craft beers and a decent wine list including vegan options. There’s a lovely beer garden too so it’s made for this weather.
