The city comes alive again this week as a fresh wave of students arrive and we get stuck into autumn menus and belting club nights.

We’re continuing the foodie vibes following a brilliant 1oth anniversary Liverpool Food & Drink Festival as we list some great new menus to try out, plus brand new local and BIG hitting comedy from Paul Smith and Micky Flanagan at Echo Arena, and of course the city will be bouncing as freshers club nights begin to raise the roof!

Monday 18th September

Try the brand new menu at Love Thy Neighbour, Bold Street

Step back in time to 1987 with The LA’s at The Florrie, Mill Street

Iconic Liverpool band The LA’s are celebrating the 30th anniversary of their first ever tour with an exhibition at The Florrie, Mill Street. There’s tonnes of rare, unseen photographs that are a must-see for any true fan. Check it out here.

Psychedelic Disco at 24 Kitchen Street

You’ve Been Gilmored! Quiz Night at HUS, Tithebarn Street

Thursday 21st September

Shit Thursdays, Freshers Specials, Arts Club

Arts School is throwing out those old school, 90’s and 00’s hip hop and R&B bangers that will have you wanting more well into Friday morning. As with all Sh*t Indie nights, expect inflatables, confetti, party hats, glowsticks and the best, most up for it crowd in Liverpool. Tickets and info here.

Liverpool Oktoberfest, Pier Head

Friday 22nd September

Aperitivio Session at MOJO

Did someone say spritz? Mojo and Liverpool Loves Cocktails have buddied up to bring you a brilliant session on Aperitivo culture. Make your own concoctions and have a giggle in the process. Details here.

Catch Chipmunk at 24 Kitchen Street

Fiesta Bombarda, Constellations

Nasty Girl, Inaya Day live at Brickworks

Brickworks, Eberle Street is the place to be this Friday night if you love a good live PA and a club floor filler. None other than Nasty Girl, Inaya Day will be performing live alongside a Nikki Belle and DJ’s Les Calvert, Anton Powers and more. Tickets here.

Liverpool Whisky Festival, Lutyens Crypt
