Halloween nights out, loads of live music, LFC legends and more feature in our events run down this week in Liverpool.
This week in Liverpool we’re lining up loads of tasty treats, £5 cocktails, theatre, comedy and quiz nights. There’s also a chance to put your questions to LFC legends Bruce Grobberlaar and David Johnson at Punch Tarmey’s. Else where there’s a brand new home for Liquidation, wine and small plates in Crosby and TV’s Most Haunted comes to St George’s Hall!

Monday 14th October
National Baking Week, Pie Port Albert Dock
If you’re getting behind National Baking Week we highly recommend a trip to Pie Port at The Royal Albert Dock. Scouse pies, traditional cornish pasties and more with mash, peas and lashings of silky smooth gravy! More info here.
Amelie The Musical, Playhouse Theatre
Based on the 5 time Oscar nominated film, Amelie The Musical is on now at the Playhouse Theatre. Follow the story of the lovable Amelie as love comes her way along with a difficult decision. A real feel good show with a beautiful soundtrack. Tix here.
Your Brain in the Pub, Craft Taproom

Tuesday 15th October

We’re hearing nothing but fantastic reviews about this Royal Court show. Girls Don’t Play Guitars tells the story of the first ever all female rock n roll group, The Liverbirds. Expect an amazing soundtrack of foot-stomping 60’s classics, this is a must see for all music fans. Tickets here.
Festival of Ideas, Edge Hill University
As part of this year’s Festival of Ideas, Edge Hill Uni is hosting a week of interesting events. In Tuesday you can watch old school Flash Gordon with British film legend, Mike Hodges! See the full programme here.
Wednesday 16th October
Taki Katei’s Japan, World Museum
Fancy seeing something new this week? Once a celebrated artist in Tokyo, Taki Katei (1830–1901) gets a UK first exhibition at World Museum. It’s open now and features stunning drawings and more. Info here.
Wine & Mediterranean Small Plates tasting, Mustard & Co

Quiz Night, O’Neills

Scalloween, 24 Kitchen Street

Most Haunted Ghost Hunt, St George’s Hall
TV’s Yvette Fielding comes to Liverpool on Friday to film a very special Most Haunted at St George’s Hall. Seriously if you’re even considering doing to catacombs, cells or court room anywhere near Halloween, you’ve got balls of steel! Tickets and info here.
