Half-term has arrived and we are making it easier for you with some brilliant ideas to keep kids of all ages entertained. From puddle jumping contests and Frozen-themed parties, to fun fairs, pantos and circuses, it’s all happening to keep boredom at bay over the holidays.

Meanwhile, there’s sensational new menus waiting to be sampled, a brilliant-sounding Vegan Market at The Baltic, some fantastic live sets – and Scouse Bird’s made her own gin! Read on and you’ve got to agree there’s no half-measures when it comes to having fun this half-term in Liverpool.

Monday 17th February 2020

Breakfast at The Quarter on Falkner Street 

Start your day in fine fettle at the rather gorgeous Georgian Quarter at this Italian-inspired independent with brekkie including Vegan options or tasty treats on-the-go such as the sausage barm featuring The Lakes’ Gold-awarded sausages on a brioche bun. Superb!

Calderstones Park Family Funfair returns for half-term!

Children will love a visit to this traditional family funfair with all their favourite rides and fun house open daily with discounted tickets available. Open 11am-6pm on the former tennis site until Saturday 23rd February.

Try a chicken dinner extravaganza at Yard & Koop, Liverpool ONE

The home of famous buttermilk-fried chicken with a menu including The Dirty Bird – a bowl of fries with buttermilk-fried chicken and crispy bacon smothered in spicy Bee’s Knees Dr Pepper BBQ and blue cheese sauces. No chickening out. It’s a taste sensation, folks.
