Are you ready for another jam packed week and early May bank holiday weekend in Liverpool?
We’ve got 7 whole days of amazing events lined up for you this week in Liverpool, with an unbeatable soundtrack. From Sound City to Smithdown Road, ClassicsFest, Liverpool Disco Festival, The Vamps, Fame, Childish Gambino and Going Rogue, there’s something for everyone.
Early May bank holiday gives us an extra day to pay with so we’re lined up places to eat, drink, party and have fun with the kids too. Here’s the best of what’s on this week in Liverpool …..
Monday 29th April
Burgers & Bubbles, The Elephant Woolton
We’re going straight in with the big guns on Monday! Get your chops around a juicy burger and glass of bubbly (beer or soft drink) at The Elephant in Woolton for just £10. Info here.
Gavin & Stacey Pub Quiz, Ma Boyle’s

The Rocky Horror Show, Liverpool Empire
It’s just a jump to the left! Get yourselves down to Liverpool Empire this week as Richard O’Briens Rocky Horror Show rolls into town at Liverpool Empire for plenty of pelvic thrusting fun. A classic tale with a kick ass soundtrack. Tickets here.
Tuesday 30th April
Spring Lunch, Stanley Bar & Grill, Titanic
There’s a fabulous new Spring menu on offer at the dockside, Stanley Bar & Grill. Located at Titanic Hotel, you can dine on the likes of cod loin, rump of lamb and shallot tart tatin with a stunning view across the water. Menus and more here.
Ravin’ Fit, Tranmere Rovers

Barcelona V Liverpool, The Grand

We’re starting our early May bank holiday weekend with classic RNB at NYL Restaurant & Cocktail Bar, North John Street on Thursday. Straight from work its cocktail o’clock with plenty old skool tunes from the 90’s and 00’s.
Love Thy Laughter Comedy Night, Hatton Garden

Friday 3rd May
Roxy Ball Room Rainford Square Launch Night
The all new Roxy Ball Room, Rainford Square (former BHS Café next to Cavern Walks) throws open its humongous doors this week in Liverpool. Wait until you see this place! Bowling alley, mini golf, ping pong, pool tables, celebratory bevs, the lot.
Sound City 2019, Baltic Triangle
This is it, Sound City 2019 is ON! Back for its 12th year, you can see the likes of Clean Cut Kid, Louis Berry, Mabel, Shame, Confidence Man, Loyle Carner, The Magic Gang, Tea Street Band, Pizzagirl, Monks, Emily Burns and so many more perform live across venues at the Baltic, all weekend long.
ASBO Cinema, Bohemian Rhapsody, Camp & Furnace

Granby Street Market
Granby Street Market returns with tonnes of stalls from 10am on Saturday morning. Treat yourself to locally made cakes, hot food, homemade bread, cakes and chutneys, browse arts and crafts – handmade cards and jewellery, new and second hand clothing and more. Info here.
Smithdown Road Festival
Smithdown Road Festival 2019 gets into full swing on Saturday with stages across venues on Smithdown itself and at Wavertree’s Mystery Garden. This year the festival is spanning 4 weeks, including two bank holiday weekends so head this way to get the latest announcements and see whats on where.
Paradox Reunion, Fusion Nightclub
This one is for all the old skool ravers. Fusion Nightclub is hosting a Buzz and Paradox reunion on Saturday night and you just know its going to go off! Rock to the Rhythm, Shake Your Shimmy and remember True Love Never Dies! Get your tickets here and take it back to the good old times.

The Vamps, M&S Bank Arena

Liverpool Disco Festival – Jungle Boogie
Liverpool Disco Festival returns to the Baltic this weekend with a Jungle Boogie theme. Tickets for the Camp & Furnace main gig are almost a sell out (some on Skiddle here), with the likes of Melba Moore, Joey Negro and Rochelle Flemming performing live, its no wonder! Going Rogue, HUS

Fame UK Reunion, M&S Bank Arena
For the first time in 35 years the kids from Fame are getting back together! Heading to the M&S Bank Arena on Bank holiday weekend you’ll be able to see Doris, Bruno, Danny, Holly and more along with the amazing LMA Choir perform live, just like its the 80’s. Tickets and more info here.
Bank Holiday at Birdies Bar Summer Garden
