Who’s ready to Splash Dash at Sefton Park for Claire House?
We’re lacing up, dusting off our tutu’s and breaking out our sunglasses to raise some much needed funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice.
The Claire House Splash Dash returns to Sefton Park for the fifth year, on Saturday 23rd September. The Claire House Splash Dash is Merseyside’s original and messiest powdered paint event where you start in your brightest whites and run, walk, skip or dance your way around the Splash Dash route, being pelted at each paint station with plumes of powered paint, creating a rainbow of colour at the finish line.
The Claire House Splash Dash will raise funds for Claire House Children’s Hospice, which provides respite and end-of-life care to seriously and terminally ill children as well as support for their families. The charity has recently opened a second site in Liverpool, which will offer services including day care, counselling and holistic therapies from Autumn 2017. The new site will allow the charity to reach more families in the Liverpool area.
Mark Pearson, Claire House Events Fundraising Manager, said: “The Splash Dash has been created to show the community exactly what Claire House is about, living life to the full and having fun! At the Splash Dash, it does not matter how fit you are or how fast you cross the finish line – it is just about having as much fun as possible, getting as colourful as you can, and supporting your local children’s hospice!”
Round up your friends, family, work colleagues, or anyone you would like to see covered in paint, and enter as a team! To sign up for the Claire House Splash Dash and support your local children’s hospice visit www.splashdash.org.uk.
