Your Weekend in Liverpool – 23-25th September

Once again there are more weekend events, gigs, shows & festivals happening in Liverpool than cast members leaving the Great British Bake Off.

Our Guide Liverpool favourite’s MIC Lowry are kicking things off with a huge gig at the 02 Academy tonight (Friday), our theatre’s are full with shows like Blood Brothers, Twopence to Cross the Mersey, and over at the Unity the premier of Shake It Up Baby takes to the stage.

Of course Liverpool Psych Fest is taking over the Baltic Triangle for two days of colourful psychedelic fun with bands like The Horrors & Super Fury Animals.

Oktoberfest has hit Liverpool IN A BIG WAY! The Oktoberfest tour is at the Pier Head, Bierkeller have got the stines & traditioanl German entertainment on the go and Independent Liverpool bring us Liverpool’s own Oktoberfest at the Great Baltic Warehouse. This is where we will be heading as there are lots of local independent food & drink retailers involved – go along, have good times and support local business in the process!

Lots of nice food to be had at the likes of Italian Club or Lucha Libre on Bold Street, or Gusto or Vinea on the Albert Dock or there’s always The Vincent or San Carlo in the Business District.

The party continues in bars like Tom Halls Tavern, Red Door, Heebies new basement club E.B.G.B.S or Jenny’s Bar for a nice cocktail.
