METAFIT

Metafit is a 30 minute HIIT (High Intensity Interval Training) workout. Metafit is great for those who like to get in, do a workout and go! Metafit may only be a 30 minute session, but its one tough session. Results are guaranteed if 100% is given. Metafit is taking the Liverpool, and the country by storm!

Metafit classes can be found at most gyms across Liverpool including all Lifestyle Gyms, JD Gym Liverpool. Check you gym’s timetable to see when you next session is!

INSANITY

Everybody knows Shaun T the Insanity mastermind! Insanity was originally made as a home workout DVD but has now become one of the favourite sessions on a gym timetable. Insanity is a tough 50 minute workout that is broken down into 4 blocks. Plyometircs & Speed, Strength & Stability, Agility & Co-ordination and Core. Insanity can and will sculpt your body if 100% is given.

Insanity Classes can be found at numerous gyms throughout the city including selected Lifestyle Gyms and numerous Exercise for Less gyms. This class is definitely one to give a go!

BODY COMBAT

Body Combat is a Les Mills Programme, which means it’s a guaranteed top notch workout! Body Combat is a martial arts based choreographed workout. In this workout there is no contact and no master moves to conquer. Body Combat is a very fun and active workout and the workout is often completed without actually realising how hard you are actually working!

Body Combat classes can be found at numerous gyms around the city including JD Gyms & the NAC (Netherton Activity Centre).

LEGS, BUMS & TUMS

Fitness - Legs Bums and Tums - The Guide Liverpool - Jase Porter

Legs, Bums & Tums is the old school cert that tones them legs, bus and tums (clue is in the title). This old school workout has remained on many gyms timetables and seen some of the other fitness classes fade away. Why you ask? Well simply because it works. Legs, Bums & Tums has been given a new lease of life due to new crazy equipment. If you’re looking to tone that bum, those legs and that tummy all at once, I suggest you find a LBT class.

LBT classes can be found at numerous gyms around the city including Lifestyle Gyms.

 

BOXERCISE

Boxercise is the boxing based workout that will get you amazing results. Its no secret that boxing is one of the best ways to burn fat. So these Boxercise classes are a great way to be motivated by great coaches that combine fitness exercises with boxing combinations! Boxercise classes are also a great way to get rid of all that stress we have due to the January blues!

SPINNING

Spinning definitely is one of the most popular workouts across the city!

CIRCUIT TRAINING

Circuit Training is another one of those old school workouts that has proved its here to stay! Circuit training is one of the most basic but effective workouts there is in the city! Circuit Training is one of the most popular classes on any gym timetable due to the fact that its simple, gets you amazing results and is pretty fun! Many gyms now include weights, spin bikes and much more into there sessions to make the sessions much more enjoyable.

GRIT

Fitness - Grit - The Guide Liverpool

Les Mills GRIT is our 2nd of 3 Les Mills programmes. GRIT is a 30 minute HIIT class. Again, HIIT is becoming a very popular training technique throughout the country. GRIT offers 30 minute Strength, Plyo & Cardio programmes. All three workouts will guarantee amazing results. Les Mills GRIT is a pretty new workout to arrive at Liverpool gyms but is seeing a massive interest, so watch this space!

Les Mills GRIT can be found at numerous gyms across the city including the NAC.

 

BODY PUMP

Fitness - Body Pump - The Guide Liverpool

Les Mills Body Pump is our 3rd Les Mills Programme. Body Pump is the workout if you want to get lean, fit and strong. Body Pump uses light to moderate weights with repetition. Body Pump is ideal for those who are looking to switch from cardio to weights.

Body Pump is available at numerous gyms throughout the city including JD Gyms Liverpool.

 

K08

Fitness - KO8 - The Guide Liverpool - Jase Porter

K08 is an exciting new workout that is set to take Liverpool by storm. Created by Kieron Owens from right here in Liverpool, K08 is the newest resistance workout to hit the city. K08 cables are available to buy for home use, but gyms across the city are now running K08 classes to help gym goers completely sculpt their body! K08 is a new workout to the city, but quickly expanding and new classes will sure to be popping up everywhere. Keep an eye out! We told you here first!
