It looks like there’ll be at least some sunshine this weekend in Liverpool City Region, but rain or shine, there’s always lots for you to get up to.

Whether it’s tasty food on a sunny terrace, seeing a show at one of our many theatres or exploring an exhibition at National Museums Liverpool – there really is something for everyone in the city this weekend.

Cocktails down a hidden lane…

Abditory is located in the historic and beautiful Queen Avenue. This weekend it will be serving up its Summer Cocktail Jugs and a host of other mouth-watering cocktails and refreshments from its Lighter Nights Menu, which you can check out here.

Liverpool's Royal Court

Whether you are a huge red, love the footie or just fancy a great night out at the theatre, you need to get to the Royal Court to see ‘YNWA – Let’s Talk About Six Baby’. Discover the history of Liverpool Football Club starting from when the club launched in 1892 right through to the present day, brought to life through song, comedy and some of the most powerful performances we’ve ever seen on the Royal Court stage.

Peter Kay will be on the decks at SPACE by M&S Bank Arena this Friday and Saturday for Dance for Life. The event raises money for Cancer Research UK and is guaranteed to have you bopping away to some of the best tunes in Peter Kay’s record bag.

The Watering Can serves up a sumptuous breakfast menu everyday from 9am and will ease you into your weekend gently with relaxing views of Greenbank Park which many say is a real hidden gem of the city.
