Here you’ll find dozens of restaurants serving everything from fresh seafood to high-end pastries and Michelin-starred bites, along with bars and shops, and it’s open from morning till midnight.

Pastel De Nata is a must eat

We can’t believe we’re only just mentioning the pastel de nata, but this is Portugal’s legendary tart with a flaky, buttery pastry shell filled with creamy egg custard. It was invented by Catholic monks at the Jerónimos Monastery in the Belém district of Lisbon and, while you’ll find them across the city, Pastéis de Belém is considered one of the best places to get them from. Tip? One is never enough!

Culture like Belém Tower

From the cathedral to the castle and the Monument to the Discoveries and more, with its Moorish heritage Lisbon’s got plenty of places to satisfy any appetite for culture, but one of it’s most visited highlights is Belém Tower, an intricately carved 16^th century fortress built right on the Tagus River.
