Mother’s Day in Liverpool is always great. The date is Sunday 22 March and here are the restaurants you can book in the city.
Yeah, we know Mother’s Day should be every day with all our lovely mums do but, at the very least, you can make sure you get it right on the day.
Most mum’s love to be wined and dined, or treated to a fab afternoon tea, and it doesn’t have to cost the earth with some great dining deals around this year.
Here’s our pick of the most popular and, don’t forget, the best news is that you can go too!!
1. The Hilton Liverpool, Thomas Steers Way
Like the hotel says, ‘you deserve it’!Â
Treat your mum to afternoon tea for two and a Mother’s Day cocktail (children under 12 get a choice from children’s menu and soft drinks).
Not only will she have a great time with you, there’ll be live entertainment to help enjoy the afternoon even more and a photographer on hand to record your special day, all for £39.99 for two adults (£29.99 for one adult and child under 16, £9.95 for child under 12).
2. Gusto, Albert Dock
Gorgeous gifts will be on offer at Gusto with a miniature bottle of Slingsby Marmalade Gin and some delish homemade chocolate truffles alongside the restaurant’s a la carte menu and Sunday roast … plus they promise a few specials on the day.

3. Frederik’s, Hope Street
Mother’s Day will fly at Frederik’s with Bingo Wings! There’s a three course Sunday Roast with Gin Serve, psychic bingo and disco tunes, all for £24.95 per person.
4. Delifonseca Dockside, Brunswick Dock
Depending on whether your mum’s an early bird or likes a lie-in there are two choices at Delifonseca with a three-course lunch (£35per head) or this great breakfast being served from 9am at £21.50 per head.Â
For that you’re serve a glass of Buck’s Fizz on arrival – always a good way to start the day – or a non-alcoholic Berry Sweetheart cocktail, and a superb three course menu including a granola and Greek yoghurt (and then some) starter, choice of hot breakfast including Eggs Royal and full cooked breakfast and, if you’ve still got room, a warm croissant with raspberry and vanilla jam and butter.

5. 60 Hope Street, Hope Street
60 have created a three-course special Mother’s Day menu being served from 12 noon to 6pm, for £35 a head. Not bad for such stylish dining, in the very best surroundings.
6. Miller & Carter, Albert Dock
The steakhouse favourite reckons it’s got all the ingredients for the perfect Mother’s Day including £10 off a bottle of Moet & Chandon Imperial. Now if that doesn’t show her how much she means…

7. Alma de Cuba, Seel Street
Show a little Latin love to your mum this Mother’s Day with a magnificent menu from the St Peter’s Church restaurant, with two courses for £27.95 and three for £32.95.Â
8. Ropewalks Bar and Kitchen, Hanover Street
Ooh, Mother’s Day sees the return of its bottomless carvery to celebrate ‘the most special people in the world’. Join them for 150 minutes of bottomless Prosecco, gin cocktails, beer and soft drinks alongside Sunday brunch dishes and live music, for £35 per person. It sold out last year so you might need to get in quick!
9. Watering Can, Greenbank Park
This looks lovely, a very colourful afternoon tea is on offer at the Greenbank Park restaurant at £25 per person with a glass of fizz included! What more do we need to say…other than there’s a superb selection of five different sandwiches, four cakes and WARM fruit scones with jam and clotted cream. All followed by a lovely walk around the park? Perfect.
10. Titanic Hotel, Stanley Dock
Titanic Hotel Liverpool is inviting guests to celebrate in dockside style with a memorable Mother’s Day lunch at Stanley’s Bar & Grill. Diners can indulge in the mouth-watering Sunday lunch menu which offers three courses for just £30, or those with a sweet tooth can opt for the traditional afternoon tea menu with a glass of bubbly, for £27.
The special Mother’s Day Sunday lunch menu includes everything from fresh salmon and dill risotto cakes for starters, half roasted rotisserie chicken and traditional roast beef for mains, and a salted caramel and chocolate torte to finish.

11. Lu Ban, Cain’s Brewery Village, Stanhope Street
Oh, they really know how to spoil you and your ma – although, like they say, it doesn’t matter whether it’s your mum, step mum, auntie, grandmother, sister, good friend or someone else who has been there for you!
Let Lu Ban spoil you both with their brilliant bottomless brunch menu. They’ll welcome you with a glass of bubbly before treating you to 90 minutes of their favourite Tianjin dishes and you’ll have a great selection of inclusive drinks to choose from too, plus a cocktail of the day and handmade chocolates – all yours for £39.50 per person with table reservations between 1pm and 4pm.
12. Siren, St James Street
Serenade your mum with live acoustic music and a terrific two-course brunch. The special menu includes a cocktail on arrival, tea or coffee, a brunch dish and sharing waffles for £20 per person. Or, you can upgrade to bottomless Prosecco for an extra £10 per person. (A children’s menu will also available at £10 per child – under 12s). Last bookings are at 2.30pm.
13. Malmaison
Love it – ‘for mums who are more Daiquiri than daffodils’ Malmaison is offering a choice of Sunday Lunch or Afternoon Tea while you’re entertained by a swing singer.
You can either invite your VIP to indulge in a selection of appetisers and soup from the Chef’s Table, followed by your choice of brunch dish, main or Sunday roast and Chef’s Table desserts, for £32.50 per person which, by the way, includes a glass of Champagne and a gift for mum!
Or, enjoy their famous afternoon tea with free flowing Prosecco and hot drinks, for the same price (children, £15).
14. The Smugglers Cove, Britannia Pavillion, Albert Dock
You’re being invited to see the sunshine at Smugglers Cove with two great Mother’s Day deals. There’s brunch available from 10am to 11.30am with guests able to enjoy a dish from their delicious brunch menu, a hot drink and a glass of Prosecco for £15, (or opt to go bottomless for an extra £10).
Lunch is available all day from 12pm, and this year they’re running a dedicated Mother’s Day menu which includes Sunday Roast dishes alongside a selection of classic Smugglers favourites. They can be ordered separately or as part of the set menu offer, with two courses for £17.50 and three courses for £21.50.
15. The Club House, Chavasse Park
‘Head to our house’ for a delicious brunch menu – including the famous House Fried Chicken and waffles – a hot drink and Prosecco for £15 (bottomless for an extra £10) between 10am and 11.30pm , or lunch from noon, selecting a Sunday Roast dish or a Club House favourite from the dedicated Mother’s Day menu (2 courses, £17.50, 3 courses, £21.50).
Plus, on Mother’s Day all guests can treat themselves to any of the Club House ‘Spritz’ cocktails for just £5 and enjoy live music in the afternoon.

Mums and family can tuck into a delicious Mimosa and Eggs Royale for £10 on Mother’s Day, available between 10am-4pm.

There’s a delicious Strawberry Collins Mother’s Day cocktail available at Maluco. Made up of gin, strawberry syrup, lemon and soda and topped with edible flowers and strawberries, it’s definitely a way to make mum feel special – and they’re just £8 each!
19. Slim’s, Bold Street
Slim’s award-winning roasts are available this Mother’s Day between 12 noon to 6pm, but it’s a special three course menu that mums and their families can tuck into. For £24.95 you can choose from a selection of starters, a roast main course and a choice of dessert, plus a free glass of Prosecco for mum.
19. Oh Me Oh My, Water Street
Celebrate with your mum this Mother’s Day and treat her to a Blooming Marvellous afternoon tea, Oh Me Oh My’s chefs are creating a menu of spring and floral-inspired savoury and sweet treats – £20.95 standard, £24.95 with Prosecco, £28.50 with Champagne or a cocktail.
