6 Scouse celebs we’d love to see follow Kim Catrall on to ITV’s Life Stories
7 years ago
We think it’s about time more scousers sat in that black chair to spill the beans.
Now there’s no denying that Piers Morgan is an absolute melt, but we’ve got to hand it to ITV, Life Stories is a brilliant week night watch and the calibre of guests just keeps getting better. Liverpool’s very own hollywood star, Kim Cattrall seriously upped the ante on Monday night when she lifted the lid on her relationship with the Sex and the City cast and life as a 61 year old actress.
We absolutely loved Kim’s interview and calling herself a proud scouser, born and bred, really warmed our hearts. We reckon it’s about time more scouse stars took a seat to tell their Life Stories.
Here’s 6 Scouse celebs we’d love to see on Life Stories…..
1 – Colleen Rooney
She’s endured more drama than a woman twice her age would expect and she’s weathered the whole lot with her head held high and unfaltering love and protection for her young family. We’d love to see Colleen take the chair and show Mr Smug her side of the WAG story and blow all those BS headlines apart. Gwe’d girl!
2 – Ricky Tomlinson
We’re not sure what we’d enjoy most about this pairing! Having seen the Royal Family actor stripped to his vest and undies, Ricky Tomlinson the entertainer, comedian, political activist and author would definitely put Piers in his place. Scouse and proud, we know we’d be blown away listening to Ricky’s Life Stories. Ahhhhhh Hey!
3 – Lily Savage
We want Lily! We all know and love her creator, Paul O’Grady, but who wouldn’t be totally captivated by Lily’s life story? From her birth in down-town Birkenhead to the Legs of Mann pub, and being looked at like a skid-mark on a hotel towel in Harrogate, our Lily would take no prisoners and likely eat Piers alive!
4 – Abbey Clancy
Although Liverpool is bursting with lookers, not many girls can boast the career of model, presenter and WAG, Abbey Clancy. Always straight talking, gives 100% to whatever project she’s working on, including glitter ball success on Strictly, discovering new talent on Britain’s Next Top Model, Abbey has become a champion of warding off tabloid jibes and she’s just about to give birth to her third child, proving you really can have it all.
5 – Johnny Vegas
Come on now, who wouldn’t want to see Johnny Vegas go off on one while Piers Morgan just sits there, fearing for his life!? Born in St Helens, Johnny’s comedy career alone must feature some seriously funny tales as well as what its really like to make a name for yourself on the national comedy circuit. Johnny Vegas, the most northern of Life Stories yet!
Stick with us as Jay meets the man himself ahead of his starring role in Christmas Panto, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at St Helens Theatre Royal. Expect a quick-fire quiz with hilarious results!
6 – Paul McCartney
Ticking the box of ‘International Musical Icon’ imagine Sir Paul taking his place in the chair to bare all about life on the road as a young Beatle! Did he really get on with John, who wrote the best songs, did he miss his Liverpool home and when did he last have a bowl of scouse? Seriously, we’d be glued to the box for this one!
