We had a real mixed bag of news over the weekend and Twitter captured it all.
From huge sporting news to tiny celebrations of vinyl, it’s been a busy weekend in Liverpool. We championed Amir Khan, toasted Mo Salah and cheered on the brave scousers who took on the London Marathon 2018 and smashed it! The sun shone down and temperatures rose while we hit the shops and beer gardens on Saturday before getting a first look at Liverpool’s magnificent new venue, The Florist and the extensive cocktail list!

Swedish DJ and EDM pioneer, Avicii was found dead at the weekend, an incredible talent aged just 28, his death was mourned by fans and DJ’s around the world.

Liverpool’s hottest new bar and restaurant, The Florist opened it’s doors and knocked our socks off. The décor, the cocktails, the food and the staff are all top class.

Amir Khan made the absolute most of his come back fight, his first for two years, at the Echo Arena, knocking opponent Phil Lo Greco in just 39 seconds.

Reds fans far and wide celebrated Mo Salah being named PFA Player of the Year, and there was no one more proud, than fans back in his hometown of Nagrig.
