Gin Lab at Liverpool Gin Distillery

Ever wanted to make your own gin?? Well what better way to do that than at Liverpool Gin Distillery. After a warm welcome and meeting your tutor along with a Liverpool Gin & Tonic, visitors are taken upstairs to one of their purpose made ‘Gin Laboratories’ where you will learn about the history of the Gin. Then you get to try it yourself, along with a gin-flight (of at least 4 gin & tonics) throughout the 2-hour experience.

Cains Brewery Tour

Depending on how many pints you can sink in an hour-and-a-half, you can now raise a glass or two (or three) to one of Liverpool’s oldest and best-loved breweries after Cains launched a Bottomless Brewery Tour at its Stanhope Street base.

For £35 a head, you can join one of Cains’ expert tour guides for a look behind the scenes of the historic city brewery, learning more about how the iconic brand began, and the brewing process itself.

The Winter Snug – Free State Kitchen

Boss burgers in a cosy setting on a winters night… what more could you possibly want? The Winter Snug is coming back to Free State Kitchen this November, and is available for dining, drinks parties and family get-togethers.

The Snug can seat up to 25 people comfortably for a sit down meal, chosen from main restaurant menu and will be served to guests at a pre-selected time. This magical space is fully insulated and has its own log burner, cosy blankets, a small bar and a BlueTooth music system so guests can play their own playlists for the night.
