Five reasons why you should book a stay at Titanic Hotel this summer
1 year ago
Everyone looks forward to a summer getaway, but having a gorgeous stay and feeling pampered doesn’t have to mean flying off somewhere. A break closer home can be just as good – especially when Liverpool has one of the best, award-winning hotels right here. Titanic Hotel was named Large Hotel of the Year in the VisitEngland Awards in June this year, and it won Hotel of the Year for the second year running in the LCR Tourism Awards.
Now’s a particularly great time to experience the hotel because it has a special seasonal deal on.So, here’s why you should book a stay at Titanic this summer…
Make the most of the Summer of ’23 offer
Sometimes it’s the little luxuries that make you feel like you’ve a real treat and that’s exactly what you get at Titanic. The interior design of the hotel is unique and absolutely stunning, with lots of features of the original Victorian warehouse like exposed brickwork, steel columns and vaulted ceilings. Take your partner for a midweek overnight stay and with the Summer of ’23 offer you’ll get a beautiful superior room, freshly-cooked breakfast plus a two-course dinner for two at Stanley’s Bar & Grill from £175 per couple.
It’s got an incredible location
Nothing beats Liverpool’s riverfront for looks and Titanic has an ideal waterside location at the historic Stanley Dock, and a Grade II listed building that’s full of heritage and character. It’s close enough to the city centre so you’re in easy reach of all the shops and attractions, but just far enough outside to escape for some proper relaxation. If you go before mid-September, you’ll also see one of the most impressive installations of the Liverpool Biennial, Brook Andrew’s new large-scale neon artwork at Stanley Dock.
Unwind at Maya Blue Wellness
There are regular spas and there are spas with a wow factor and Maya Blue is one of those. It’s underground in Stanley Dock, so it feels like a secret sanctuary. You can soak in the hydrotherapy pool surrounded by curved red brick ceilings and archways and enjoy the thermal suite. It’s not long been refurbished so it’s looking lovely, and there’s a really friendly team of therapists if you fancy an ESPA treatment – two have specialist training too, so they’re qualified to give massages and facials to anyone who’s had, or still having, cancer treatment.
Drinks at the Rum Bar
Rum isn’t everyone drink, but it really doesn’t matter because the Rum Bar isn’t just about that – even though you’ll struggle to find a better Mojito anywhere in Liverpool. Yes, it’s got a huge selection of rums, so if you love them – or just fancy trying them – then this is definitely the place, but it has a fantastic cocktail list so anyone who loves a martini won’t be disappointed. Perfect for summer, they do a fresh, fruity Sweetshop Spritz and a White Sangria too.
Delicious summer menus with added kitchen theatre at Stanley’s
Food at Stanley’s Bar & Grill is top class, you can tell that by the number of diners who come here even when they’re not staying at the hotel. There’s a theatre-style kitchen so you can watch chefs at work, and along with speciality steaks, they have a big meat-free selection, and a delicious Sunday roast. For a daytime treat, Stanley’s also serves afternoon tea – traditional, veggie or vegan – with a choice of teas, prosecco or glass of Lanson Brut Champagne. If the weather’s nice, you can have it out on the Colonnades. Scones and clotted cream by our gorgeous waterfront? Can’t get better than that!
