Excitement is building as final preparations are underway for Deva Fest 2024.  The independently-run, family-friendly festival will take place from 8 – 11 August at the stunning Cholmondeley Castle in Cheshire.

Since its inception in 2018, Deva Fest has become the North West’s favourite festival, with 3 days of the best live music, comedy, free activities and some of the region’s best food traders.

This year’s line-up sees 80’s legends The Human League, as well as 90’s rock band Ocean Colour Scene and Merseyside locals, The Coral take to the main stage across the weekend, whilst dance legends Rui Da Silva, K-Klass and Ultrabeat will headline the Sensus Stage.

The popular Sailor’s Rest tent will once again be home to the Old Time Sailors, fresh off their Glastonbury performances, whilst the Heart and Soul stage will see unsigned acts from across the country perform from Friday – Sunday. The Deva Laughs comedy tent will be open from 6-9pm and hosted by Danny McLoughlin.

As part of Deva Fest’s guest first promise, entry to the festival includes access to a host of free activities, with everything from axe throwing to children’s storytelling workshops, and of course, the ever-popular free fairground is back and bigger than ever.

Foodies will be treated to an array of delicious offerings from some of Cheshire’s finest food traders, spearheaded by Chester favourite, Artezzan Restaurant and Bar.  The full-service bars will be fronted by the expert team from iKO, with Vocation Brewery and Brother’s Cider partnering with the event to complete festival drinks offering.

Once again, Deva Fest has joined forces with Merseyrail to ensure easy and affordable access for festival attendees.

Those travelling to the festival with a valid Merseyrail ticket can use the festival shuttle buses from Chester Railway Station, free of charge, on presentation of both a valid train and festival entry ticket. This partnership, which began last year, is part of Deva Fest’s commitment to sustainability and accessibility.

Phil Marston, the founder of Deva Fest, said:

“We can’t wait to welcome everyone back to Deva Fest. Our goal has always been to create a unique and memorable experience for festival-goers and this year promises to be our best yet.

“2024 has been a difficult year for the events industry, with so many festivals having to cancel so to see our event once again come to life, bigger than ever before, is a real testament to our team and amazing guests.”

Final tickets are available on the Deva Fest website, with Saturday tickets expected to sell out in the next 48 hours.
