Work on the new Aspire Executive Lounge at Liverpool John Lennon Airport is underway

Liverpool John Lennon Airport has unveiled plans for its new Aspire Executive Lounge which will complete the latest multi-million pound phase of passenger improvements at the airport, ahead of the peak Summer season.

Since its inception in May 2012, the Aspire Lounge at Liverpool John Lennon Airport has become a go-to retreat for travelers seeking comfort in the bustling Departure Lounge. Due to its immense popularity, even following a previous expansion and refurbishment, the lounge is set to undergo another transformation, this time into a much larger facility to meet the increasing demand.

Under construction now, the new Aspire Executive Lounge will boast over three times the floor space of the current setup, accommodating more than 200 guests—double the existing capacity.

For the first time, travelers will have the option to choose between the classic Aspire experience and the upgraded Luxe by Aspire offering. Luxe will feature private booths, communal workspaces, premium snacks and drinks, and will be exclusively for adults. Additionally, this upgrade will introduce dedicated toilet facilities for enhanced convenience.

Open from 4 am to 9 pm, the new lounge will be accessible to all passengers. Guests are encouraged to book online in advance to secure their spot, with various priority passes and tour operator inclusive bookings also accepted. The Aspire Lounge is expected to welcome its first guests just in time for the summer peak travel period.

Construction has been ongoing throughout the winter to develop new food and beverage options in the Departure Lounge. Recent openings include Monty’s Diner and a refurbished Kissing Gate Bar and Kitchen, with additional coffee shop facilities set to launch in the coming weeks.
