SOHO Coffee is landing at Liverpool John Lennon Airport

Passengers flying out of Liverpool John Lennon Airport will soon have a new spot to grab a coffee and something tasty to eat before they jet off, as SOHO Coffee gets ready to open in the departure lounge.

Work is about to start on the new unit, with the popular coffee and food brand set to open its doors next month. This will be SOHO’s first store in the North West, bringing a menu full of fresh, handmade food and quality hot drinks to LJLA.

Known for their consciously crafted coffee and feel-good food, SOHO’s offering will include everything from loaded jacket potatoes and seasonal salads to big breakfast rolls and signature drinks.

They’ve also teamed up with some exciting brands to add something different to the menu – think premium matcha from PerfectTed, a bright green powdered tea with all sorts of health benefits, and a sweet collab with Jammie Dodgers that’s bringing a fun twist to their hot chocolate and their signature SOnut (that’s part doughnut, part croissant, and all indulgence).

There’ll be room for 100 passengers to sit and relax in the new space, but if you’re short on time, there’s also a grab-and-go option so you can take your food on board with you.

Lucy O’Shaughnessy, commercial director at LJLA, said: “SOHO Coffee brings something a bit different to the mix here at the airport. Their twist on classic drinks and pastries is going to be a big hit with passengers.”

The arrival of SOHO Coffee marks the final stage in an 18-month upgrade to food and drink facilities at LJLA, just in time for a busy summer travel season.
