Loads of family fun coming to Liverpool ONE this May half term

If you’re on the hunt for ways to keep the kids entertained this May half term, Liverpool ONE has plenty going on to fill the days with fun – and a lot of it’s free too.
Whether you’re planning a full day out or just fancy a few hours in town, there’s something for everyone to get stuck into. From wild adventures and hands-on experiences to great food and family-friendly shopping, Liverpool ONE is a proper go-to this school break.
Start by stepping into the surreal at the Upside Down House – perfect for getting those fun family photos. There’s also the LVP 3×3 basketball tournament bringing the action to Chavasse Park, plus a chance to explore the Nature Trail while you’re there.

If you’re heading indoors, there’s loads to do whatever the weather. Get your game face on at Gravity MAX with everything from VR to bowling and e-karting, test your skills at Escape Live! play a round of crazy golf at Junkyard Golf Club or catch the latest family films at ODEON.
There’s no shortage of places to eat – and loads of spots are offering kids eat free deals to help keep things budget-friendly. Whether you fancy something quick or want to sit down for a proper meal, there are menus to suit even the fussiest eaters.
Paddington Bear is in town too, waiting to meet fans of all ages outside Waterstones, so don’t miss the chance to grab a selfie with everyone’s favourite marmalade-loving bear.

And if you fancy something a bit different, the Heritage Trail is a free way to explore the city’s past with stories that bring 300 years of history to life. Or go even deeper on the Old Dock Tour, which takes you underneath Liverpool ONE to uncover the secret history of the world’s first commercial wet dock.
Liverpool ONE is also welcoming a new arrival – MINISO opens Saturday 17 May on Lower South John Street, packed with fun gadgets, cute gifts and quirky beauty finds.
Plus, there’s a special celebration on Tuesday 27 May on Thomas Steers Way for Cunard’s 185th anniversary, with drummers and fire performers lighting up the evening as Queen Anne visits the city.
