Over 40 artists from Merseyside record special song for Liverpool Zoe’s Place

The Mersey Music Collective have recorded a very special original song for Liverpool Zoe’s Place.
Featuring over 40 artists from the Merseyside region, including Peter Hooton (The Farm), TV Personalities Kate Robbins and Tricia Penrose, Anthony Russell (X-Factor Finalist), plus many more performers including The Devine Theatre Group Children’s Choir, the song titled ‘Lighthouse’ will be released on 6th June.
The song has been written by Angela Inkson, Tony Cook and Chris Hollis.

The video for the song is produced by Liverpool Film Studios. Renowned Merseyside artist Paul Curtis has designed the artwork for the single. All corners of this project, from the songwriters, producers, musicians and artists are from the bedrock of the city.
A spokesperson from Liverpool Zoe’s Place said:

On Thursday 5th June, a very special event will take place at Beatles Story Museum on Albert Dock where all the artists, musicians, invited guests including the new Lord Mayor of Liverpool Cllr Barbara Murray, His Majesty the Kings official representative, the Deputy Lieutenant of Merseyside and the High Sheriff of Merseyside, will be in attendance. Members of staff from Liverpool Zoes Place will also be attending the event.
The launch event starts at 5pm and finishes at 7.30pm. The event will see the video shown to everyone for the first time.
