Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool partners with University Hospitals of Liverpool for fundraiser

This October, The Municipal Hotel & Spa Liverpool will be partnering with the breast cancer unit at University Hospitals of Liverpool to raise funds for their vital work.

With many fundraising activities taking place at The Municipal across the month, from themed afternoon tea, bespoke cocktails and a collaborative event with UHL, there are lots of opportunities for visitors to enjoy themselves at the hotel while supporting a brilliant cause. 

Throughout the month of October, The Botanic Tea Room within the hotel will host its Pink October Afternoon Tea initiative, where £1 from every dining cover will be donated to UHL’s Breast Cancer Unit. Guests dining at Botanic will also have the opportunity to enter a charity raffle to win an overnight stay at the hotel. Raffle tickets will be sold at £5 per strip, with all proceeds going directly to the charity.

In addition to the activity taking place in the Botanic Team Room, the hotel will also be offering a specially crafted Pink October cocktail titled “Power in Pink” where £1 from every cocktail sold will be donated to the hospital. The cocktail will be available to try from the hotel’s elegant Palm Court Bar. 

Later in the month, The Municipal will host an event in collaboration with UHL featuring a member of the Breast Cancer Unit in attendance to discuss the work of the charity, how to detect early signs of breast cancer and how the community can get involved and support the charity. The event will be free to attend and ticketed via Eventbrite, with the date to be confirmed shortly on the hotels website.
