Metquarter’s All Over The Shop shortlisted for REVO Awards 2025

Metquarter tenant All Over The Shop (AOTS), has been shortlisted for the REVO Awards 2025 in the category for Best Independent Operator of the Year. 

Run by local creative Bethan Flanagan, AOTS serves as a bold reimagination of the high street shopping experience, with over 50 independent traders from across Liverpool under one roof. It acts as more than just a retail space and offers customers a creative hub that blends shopping, creativity and community, offering everything from handmade goods and art to services such as shoe repairs, clothing alterations and upcycling. 

Founder Bethan Flanagan has created a thriving ecosystem for local makers and designers, providing an affordable space for independent business owners to showcase their business offering, while also receiving mentorship and collaboration opportunities.  The store has a constantly evolving mix of traders that keep the experience fresh and dynamic, with regular workshops also taking place to help the public learn new skills and connect directly with local artists. 

The REVO Awards nomination celebrates AOTS’s innovation, resilience, and impact in redefining what independent retail can be and highlights the forward-thinking partnership between AOTS, Metquarter, and Queensberry, whose shared vision has made this success possible.

Since opening in 2006, Metquarter has championed many local independent operators and provided a city centre location for businesses such as AOTS to thrive. In recent years the centre has become a mixed-use destination for shopping, food and entertainment but with independent retailers at its heart. 

The winners will be announced at this year’s REVO ceremony on 3 December 2025.
