If you want to celebrate the highs of 2025 and look forward to 2026 whilst enjoying a one-of-a-kind dining experience, then the gorgeous Hope Street landmark has got to be for you.

Not only are they offering roaring fires, cosy snugs, and live folk music from popular folk duo Me & Deboe – they also have some of the best festive decorations in the city!

The Dog & Collar are giving you a chance to celebrate in style and enjoy a more relaxed and intimate journey into the next 12 months.

To begin your evening, you can take your place in its beautifully decorated, candle-lit dining room to enjoy a luxurious meal that’s been specially curated for New Year’s Eve.

There are two mouthwatering menus with three and five course options, and two sittings to ensure that the table will be set for a sumptuous dinner just when you want it.

The three course menu will be served at 5pm, when you can enjoy starters like Scallop with Bacon & Malt Vinegar Beurre Blanc and Leeks in Champagne Sauce, and mains including Beef Fillet Rossini in a rich Madeira sauce with Truffle and Monkfish accompanied by a Chorizo Confit.

And the desserts really don’t disappoint either with a delicious selection featuring Guinness Sticky Toffee Pudding with Chantilly Cream, and Salted Caramel Crème Brûlée with Shortbread.

Elevating the dining stakes even further, is the incredible five course menu that you can feast fabulously on at 8pm.

A Cepe & Truffle Velouté snack will welcome you on arrival, and if you really want to push the boat out you can add Oysters Mignonette for a small extra charge – go on, it is New Year’s Eve! – and there’s a cheese course to complete your dream dining experience.

Afterwards, diners can relax and prepare to pop a cork or two when the clock strikes midnight!

There’s always a warmth and great atmosphere at The Dog & Collar, and never more so than throughout the festive season and New Year when the focus is on fun times and fantastic food.

“This year, we’re offering the chance to enjoy a one-of-a-kind dining experience, with our two menus specially curated for New Year’s Eve,” says Alex Binnington, general manager. “I couldn’t think of a better way to welcome in the new year.”

So if you’re looking for a cosy way to welcome in 2026, let The Dog & Collar Pub lead the way.
