Star Pins Liverpool opens on school lane with bowling, games and late-night music
12 minutes ago
A new bowling and activity venue has officially opened its doors in Liverpool city centre, bringing a mix of classic games and evening entertainment to School Lane.
Star Pins welcomed its first guests on 15 January, taking over the former Roxy Lanes Liverpool School Lane site and becoming the brand’s second location following a successful launch in Coventry.
The venue offers ten-pin bowling alongside tech darts, shuffleboard, ice-free curling, karaoke and a new arcade area. Designed as a day-to-night destination, Star Pins aims to cater for families and groups during the daytime before switching gears in the evening.

From 6pm, the space transforms into a music-led bar with commercial hits and a party atmosphere, making it a spot for date nights, birthdays and group celebrations.
Food options include loaded pizzas, crispy chicken, nachos, fries and desserts, while the bar serves cocktails, mocktails, draught beers, cider, wine, slush drinks and soft drinks.

Star Pins is operated by Professionals at Play, which also runs the remaining Roxy Lanes venues in Liverpool. Those sites will continue to operate as over-18 spaces, while Star Pins introduces a more family-friendly offer to the city’s leisure scene.
Matt Jones, CEO of Professionals at Play, said the concept has been designed to create a more inclusive daytime environment while still delivering a high-energy experience in the evening.
Bookings for lanes and games can be made online via the Star Pins website.
