New luxury aparthotel opening at 60 Old Hall Street in Liverpool’s business district

60 Old Hall Street will become the third city centre site for SevenStay Group, bringing fresh life to a building that has stood empty for the past six years.

Located in the heart of the business district, the venue has undergone a 12-month refurbishment to transform the former fitness club — once owned by Signature Living — into a premium aparthotel aimed at corporate guests, long-stay visitors and families looking for a quieter base in the city.

Opening on Saturday 7 March, 60 Old Hall Street will offer 44 serviced apartments, with a mix of one and two-bedroom options sleeping between one and six guests. Some apartments will feature balconies overlooking Liverpool’s skyline.

Each apartment has been designed with a home-from-home feel, complete with fully equipped kitchens, dining areas and modern bathrooms, with selected rooms including Jacuzzi baths. Guests will also benefit from full fibre Wi-Fi, a concierge front desk and a 24-hour contact service.

Residents will have discounted access to an independently run gym within the building, with a new vegan café, The Wild Root, set to open on site in April.

SevenStay owner Andy Shields said the new location offers something different to the group’s existing sites on Bold Street and Fleet Street.

He said the Concert Square venues cater to guests wanting to be in the centre of the action, while 60 Old Hall Street provides a more relaxed option — particularly suited to business travellers during the week and visitors looking for calm surroundings at weekends.

The aparthotel is within walking distance of the waterfront, close to the M&S Bank Arena and Convention Centre, as well as restaurants including Gino D’Acampo at INNSiDE Liverpool and 51 Trattoria on Castle Street.

Andy added that while guests may want to enjoy the buzz of Mathew Street, the Royal Albert Dock or matchdays at the new Hill Dickinson Stadium, not everyone wants to stay in the middle of it.

With bookings now open, 60 Old Hall Street adds another premium accommodation option to Liverpool’s growing aparthotel scene.
