Hundreds of free Beatles Story tickets up for grabs for Merseyside residents this Global Beatles Day.
The Beatles Story is giving local people the chance to enjoy a special after hours experience this Global Beatles Day, with 280 free tickets available exclusively for Merseyside residents.
Taking place on Thursday 25 June at the attraction’s home at the Royal Albert Dock, the free Global Beatles Night event will celebrate Liverpool’s musical heritage with a unique evening packed with live entertainment, expert insights and special prizes.
The exclusive event has been designed as a thank you to the local community, offering visitors the chance to explore the award winning attraction after closing time in a more intimate setting.
Guests lucky enough to secure tickets can look forward to expert led talks throughout the exhibition, live music performances, refreshments and the chance to win Beatles themed prizes.
Global Beatles Day is celebrated annually on 25 June and honours the enduring legacy of The Beatles. The date marks the anniversary of the band’s historic worldwide satellite broadcast performance of All You Need Is Love, which brought audiences together across the globe.
Alongside the evening event, The Beatles Story will also host free daytime celebrations in the Fab4 Café at the Royal Albert Dock. Visitors can enjoy live music, interactive Beatles themed activities, prize giveaways and limited edition food and drink specials throughout the day, with no booking required.
The attraction says the events form part of its ongoing commitment to the local community, alongside initiatives such as the In My Life Memory Café, which supports people living with dementia and their carers through the power of music.
The celebrations also coincide with the launch of the Government’s Great British Summer Savings initiative, which will offer discounted admission to attractions including The Beatles Story throughout the summer.
Tickets will be allocated through a free public ballot open only to Merseyside residents. Successful applicants will receive two tickets each for the event.
