Comedy, cheese, circus acts and The Full Monty, what a week we’ve lined up for you in Liverpool!
What’s on this week in Liverpool? How do you fancy eating all the cheese, drinking all the gin, laughing til your sides hurt, winning £500 at Camp & Furnace and busting moves with the actual, real Village People? But that’s not all. We’ve got farmers markets, community gardens, that freaky chic from the RING makes another appearance, Bjork rocks the Kaz and Birkenhead gets illuminated with a light spectacular.

Monday 18th March
BSC Fry, Bold Street Coffee

The Full Monty, Liverpool Empire Theatre
The Full Monty opens at The Liverpool Empire on Monday for a 6 night run and we can’t wait to see the cast, including Gary Lucy, James Redmond and our very own Louis Emerick keep their hats on. We caught up with the cast in Chester just before Christmas. Tickets here.
20th Anniversary : The Ring, FACT
As if it’s been 20 years since the RING was released convincing us all that terrifying creature could and would crawl out of our flat screen tv’s. Relive the horror at Picturehouse at FACT on Monday night. Tickets here.
Tuesday 19th March
The X Files Quiz, Videodyssey
The city’s last video and retro gaming shop, VideOdyssey is hosting an X Files quiz on Tuesday night from 7pm. Bring your conspiracy theories and do Mulder proud. Info here.
Circus of Horrors, M&S Bank Arena
Fancy something a bit different for your Tuesday night entertainment? Head to Auditorium at M&S Bank Arena for The Circus of Horrors brand new show. Combining rock, bizarre & dare devil Circus acts and a stella light show, this is one for the curious. Tickets and info here.
Anton & Erin Dance Those Magical Musicals
Love a bit of Strictly? Everyone’s fave Anton Du Beck performs live at the Liverpool Philharmonic on Tuesday night with partner Erin Boag. Expect all the greatest musical tracks and a stunning display of dance. Tickets here.
Wednesday 20th March
Granby Winter Garden Launch

New Order: Decades, British Music Experience

Example UK Club Tour, Invisible Wind Factory

Music Movies: Spiceworld, Parr Street Studio 2
There’s a double whammy of girl power at Studio 2, Parr street on Friday night. The Spiceworld Movie is on followed by an all female soundtrack party. Bring your dancing shoes and diva attitude. Tickets here.
Funk Friday, Camp & Furnace
Funk, Soul & Motown makes its C&F debut on Friday night from 9pm. Bringing boogie to the Baltic, this night dedicated to the coolest tunes requires big hoops, smooth moves and your biggest and best singing voice. Tickets here.
Bjork Special, Kazimier Gardens
Kazimier Garden is dedicating Friday night to swan-wearing, big time sensuality, Björk. It’s been 25 years since the Icelandic legend won Best International Newcomer at the Brits and frankly that’s enough reason to throw a party. Info here.
Saturday 23rd March
Lark Lane Farmers Market
Lark Lane Farmers Market is back on Saturday. From 9am you can wander stalls selling everything from sausages, pies, pastries, wholefoods, fruit, veg and lots of cake. Info here.
Animated Square, Birkenhead
If you do one thing this weekend, make it a visit to see Animated Square at Birkenhead’s Victoria Square from 5pm. There’s a family friendly event with street performance and workshops before the square is illuminated from 7:45pm.
