Join Read Liverpool for thousands of free book downloads
5 years ago
Liverpool libraries may be closed during the pandemic, but you can still take your mind off the here-and-now by escaping into different lives, times and storylines with thousands of books waiting to capture your attention for free thanks to the Read Liverpool e-library service.
Liverpool was one of the first cities in the UK to introduce the e-library service in 2009. So, while Liverpool in lockdown has meant keeping ourselves busy, beyond the boxsets and onscreen events, your next great read is yours to borrow when you’re looking to unwind.
Read Liverpool is a free e-library service with digital titles to download whether you’re looking for an ebook, audiobook or magazine. You can borrow up to 8 titles at a time, extend your lending period online if you’re not ready to return a title, and all without paying a penny or loading up your bookshelves, 24-hours a day.
There’s thousands of titles available, with new additions to the service throughout lockdown, and New Releases and Most Popular sections to help you navigate the virtual bookshelves. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, you can request titles either as an ebook or audiobook.
The Children’s Section holds everything from picture books to Teen fiction and study guides to help with home learning, along with author reviews to introduce children to new titles and keep them discovering new interests.
