As the UK prepares for Eurovision, easyJet Cabin Crew Trade Uniforms for Iconic Outfits to Greet Fans!
Crew from easyJet’s Liverpool base have embraced some of the most outlandish looks from memorable performances, including, Eurovision legend and ABBA’s lead singer, Agnetha Fältskog’s famous glitzy blue satin and suede jumpsuit, complete with knee-high silver platform boots.
The airline is a national sponsor of the competition, which will be hosted in the UK on behalf of last year’s winners Ukraine.
Crew member Tayler embraced Ireland’s Jedward, who wore a futuristic holographic all-in-one outfit in 2012, whilst Amanda channelled Ukraine’s Ruslana who sported a quirky leather and fur costume.
Ruslana won the 2004 contest with her song Wild Dances which scored 280 points, which at the time was a record-breaking result.
Cabin staff Chloe and Phillip recreated Buck Fizz’s primary colours outfit, complete with the infamous skirt rip moment. The British group won the 1981 contest with the song ‘Making Your Mind Up’.
Lucky passengers on flights in and out of Liverpool Airport this week might get a chance to see cabin crew dressed in their outfits, performing a tongue-in-cheek Eurovision inspired safety announcement.
A spokesperson from easyJet said
“Everyone at easyJet is incredibly excited to be flying Eurovision fans from all over the continent into Liverpool to join the celebrations as the UK hosts the competition this year. We couldn’t be prouder to be a national sponsor of this incredible event that brings together people from many different cultures in celebration of the universal language of music!
“We couldn’t resist the opportunity to celebrate the competition in our own special way – taking to the runway in the most iconic Eurovision looks of all time. We hope our cabin crew get Liverpool’s passengers into the Eurovision spirit!”
