Marie Curie Woolton to permanently close its inpatient unit
Marie Curie, the UK’s leading end of life charity, has confirmed today (Weds, 2 July) that it will not reopen the inpatient unit at its hospice on Speke Road in Woolton.

Claire House urgently needs to build a children’s hospice in Liverpool to provide specialist nursing, end‑of‑life care, comfort and emotional support for seriously and terminally ill babies, children, young adults and their families. 🩵
Their current base in West Derby could solve this problem and there are plans to create a fully functional children’s hospice within the site.
But Claire House needs your help to do it.
