Liverpool has officially been crowned the UK’s Most Generous City by GoFundMe! 🙌

After the heartbreaking vandalisation of Spellow Library during last summer’s riots, the community came together to back Alex McCormick’s GoFundMe campaign raising over £250,000 to rebuild what was lost.

Now, GoFundMe CEO Tim Cadogan is visiting Liverpool to see the amazing impact of that generosity firsthand. Tim presented a special plaque to Liverpool City Region Mayor Steve Rotheram and Liverpool City Council in honour of Merseyside’s incredible kindness.

We caught up with Tim, Steve Rotheram, and Alex to hear more about this powerful story of solidarity and community spirit.
