Craig Charles to perform live DJ set on Randox Ladies Day as part of Aintree’s Fabulous Friday

Legendary DJ Crag Charles is set to entertain race-goers at Randox Ladies Day this year at Aintree Racecourse as part of the Randox Grand National Festival

Randox Ladies Day at the Randox Grand National Festival (Friday 8^th April) will see Merseyside legend Craig Charles performing a Live DJ set on the Red Rum Lawn after racing as part of the #FabulousFriday raceday experience.

A familiar face from his many years playing Dave Lister in cult science sitcom Red Dwarf, Liverpool-born Charles can regularly be heard on BBC 6 Music where he currently presents an afternoon slot as well as the popular The Craig Charles Funk And Soul Show every Saturday evening.

Craig Charles said:

“Being a native of the city, I know just how much of an institution Ladies Day is for the people of Liverpool.

“Having not taken place since 2019 due to the pandemic, it’s sure going to be a party like no other this year. I can’t wait to perform my DJ set and hopefully we can party until way past bedtime!”
