Everything you need to know if you’re going to Let’s Rock Liverpool

Get ready to party like its 1985! Let’s Rock Liverpool brings all your favourite 80’s legends to Croxteth Park this weekend.
The summer music festival fun continues in Liverpool this Saturday as Let’s Rock Liverpool – The Retro Festival brings 10 whole hours of 80’s tastic bangers to Croxteth Hall Country Park. Leg warmers, blue eye shadow and seriously dodgy dance moves at the ready, this family friendly festival is all about the music and reliving the good old days.
We’ve lined up all the info you need to know including travel, tickets, VIP, accessibility, what’s on for kids and what you can and cant take in to the festival site.

When & Where
Let’s Rock Liverpool takes place at Croxteth Hall Country Park on Saturday 27th July 2019. Gates open at 11am with the live music beginning at 12pm and the concert is expected to finish around 10:45pm. The park gates at West Derby Village are the best ways to enter the festival site.
Getting There
Bus
There are a number of bus services that operate from the city centre to near Croxteth Park. The most direct one is the 18. However both the 12, 13 and 61 and 62 cross city services all stop just a short 5 minute walk from the park itself.
Shuttle Bus
From 9am until 4pm and 6:30pm until 11:30pm a shuttle bus service will run from Norton Street to Muirhead Avenue for festival goers to reach the site and get back to the city centre again, with ease. Return tickets are Ā£5 for adults and kids under 12 travel for free with a downloaded ticket. Info here.Ā
Taxi
A taxi from Liverpool Lime Street station will cost approximately Ā£10-Ā£15 and can carry up to 5 passengers.

This is your Let’s Rock Liverpool line-up: The Human League, Tony Hadley, Marc Almond, Midge Ure, Go West, Nick Heyward, Roland Gift, Nik Kershaw, T’Pau, The Real Thing, China Crisis, Altered Images, Sonia, Brother Beyond, Belouis Some, Owen Paul, Jennie ‘Bellestar’ Matthias, Musical Youth, Westworld, Black Lace’s Conga Party. Amazing!
Set Times
Tickets
Tickets are still on sale and are now at tier 3. Adult tickets are Ā£42. Kids age 12 and under go free. Maximum two free kids tickets per full paying adult. On the day ticket prices are likely to increase so get yours here.
Tickets will not be available on the gate.
VIP
As with any music festival there is a chance to enhance your experience by going VIP. The Club Tropicana themed VIP enclosed at Let’s Rock Liverpool offers a whole load of exclusive extras. DJ sets from the likes of Pat Sharp, fast track entry, posh toilets, live sets from Nathan Moore and Black Lace, dedicated bars serving up 80’s cocktails, comfy seating and more. Accessibility
Let’s Rock Festival wants everyone to enjoy the festival experience and has taken all possible steps to ensure those with accessibility needs are catered for. There is disabled parking and accessible toilets on site. Due to the festival taking place in a park/countryside setting, the ground can be uneven and may be difficult to navigate. Stewards will be on hand where possible to help. Personal Assistant tickets are also available.
There is no covered viewing platform at Let’s Rock Liverpool but there is a small area reserved for disabled guests. Head this way to find out more and plan your day.Ā
Kids Kingdom
Children can enjoy complimentary activities within the Kidsā Kingdom area. Expect all the festival favourites, face painting, interactive circus activities, inflatables and also the chance to join in with mum and dad busting some moves to the best of the 80’s. Don’t forget, children aged 12 and under go free.
Food & Drink
There’s a whole host of on-site food vendors and lots of bars and VIP bars to keep you well hydrated throughout the day. You can bring your own picnic into the main arena but we have a wide variety of catering on offer, including a large BBQ, Indian, Mexican and Chinese.

Let’s Rock Liverpool Do’s & Don’ts
Here’s all the FAQ info you need to know about Let’s Rock Liverpool.
Do dress up in your best 80’s garb. Fancy dress, leg warmers the lot! Bring a picnic blanket, camping chairs and or a small tent (up to 1m in height) and grab a spec in front of the main stage nice and early. You can bring water or soft drinks, no bigger than 500ml size bottles, still sealed. Do bring a picnic full of classic 80’s party food – but no sharp cocktails sticks on your cheese and pineapple hedgehog!
Don’t bring alcohol, BBQ’s or dogs to the event. No glass of sharp objects will be permitted.
Let’s Rock Festival is a no re-entry event, with the sole exception of parents/guardians accompanied by children under the age of 16. Single use re-entry wristbands will be issued so that parents can take kids home and re-enter to enjoy the later entertainment themselves. More info on that here.Ā
