Formby favourite Dapa Coffee receives five star rating

Dapa Coffee, which is highly regarded as one of Formby’s most popular and stylish coffee shops has been awarded a five star food hygiene rating by the Food Standards Agency. 

The stunning oasis in the heart of Formby Village, which opened in September 2021 has become a much loved warm and welcoming community hub serving  a wide selection of expertly prepared coffee’s by highly trained Barista’s, breakfast, herbal and well-being teas along with  artisan cakes and pastries and a fine selection of sandwiches from local suppliers.  The site of the former betting shop has become a firm favourite in Formby and surrounding areas.

Owned and operated by business partners Paul Lally and Dave Seed, the transformation to  the stand out corner plot on Chapel Lane has embraced everything that the Formby faithful love about their area.   The interior has a cleverly designed scheme which brings the outdoors indoors, and boasts a fully licenced private hire space, whilst the south facing outside terrace enjoys the sunshine for most of the day, where guests can relax and watch the world go by.

With Dapa Coffee’s first birthday  a matter of weeks away, customers can look forward to an increased food offering as the team extend the kitchen and plans are in place to celebrate a fantastic first year for Dapa Coffee.
