Liverpool hotels helping to share the love this Valentine’s Day

There’s little more romantic than an overnight stay with that special someone to celebrate Valentine’s Day.

And hotels in the city are waiting and willing to join in the love fest with extra special touches and great deals to make sure Cupid’s arrow lands bang on target…

INNSiDE Liverpool

‘Will You Marry me, ‘I love you’ or just ‘Happy Valentine’s Day’ perhaps? Whatever the message you want to convey to the love of your life, INNSiDE by Melia in Old Hall Street is happy to write it on the mirror in your room when you stay.

They’ll also shape your towels like beautiful swans and scatter rose petals, and all you have to do is ask. If you want to add a bottle of fizz, you can arrange that with the hotel bar in advance.

Baltic Hotel

The urban chic hotel in Jamaica Street has got its own Duck & Swagger pub, and Shoreditch-style restaurant, The Baltic Brasserie, where you can wine and dine your other half with special Valentine’s Day menus throughout the ‘week of love’ – and it’s got live acoustic music in the restaurants on Friday and Saturday, February 11 and 12.

You could also have the Marshall Mini Bar fridge filled with a favourite fizz, play love songs on a record player with a selection of vinyl classics, and you can even arrange to have heart-shaped balloons and banners in the room, rose petals scattered on the bed, flowers, and more. There’s a range of packages to make your stay sweet including the £39 Romantic Package, which includes a bottle of chilled Prosecco, a heart balloon and rose petals in the room.

For only £99, Titanic’s ‘Love on the Docks’ overnight stay includes a full English Breakfast and a bottle of wine on arrival night (white/red/rose wine, it’s your choice).

If you are looking for the ultimate relaxing getaway, you could add a visit to its Maya Blue Wellness spa sanctuary, which is offering a 55-minute ESPA Couples’ Massage plus two hours in its tranquil thermal suite for £160 per couple throughout February. And, if it’s a romantic dinner for two you’re after, it’s serving a three-course Valentine’s Day dinner for two at Stanley’s Bar & Grill for £40 per person, including a glass of Bottega Rose Gold.
