Local Famous Faces create video in support of James’ Place

Famous faces from sports and the arts including documentarian Louis Theroux, UFC star Paddy Pimblett, TV personality Jamie Laing, actor and comedian Asim Chaudhry, actor David Jonsson, footballer Tom Davies, TV presenter Matt Johnson and Married At First Sight’s Thomas Hartley have joined forces to take part in a charity video for World Suicide Prevention Day on 10th September in support of James’ Place.

The video aims to encourage suicidal men in London and the North West to reach out for help from male suicide charity James’ Place, which offers free, life-saving treatment to men in suicidal crisis at centres in Liverpool and London. The charity has treated over 1,500 suicidal men since 2018, delivering over 7,500 therapy sessions. A third centre will open later this year in the North East.

Ellen O’Donoghue, Chief Executive of James’ Place said:

“James’ Place works to save the lives of suicidal men. One of our biggest challenges is making sure that people know about us, so that men in crisis can access our life-saving treatment. We are so grateful to everyone who took part in the video to help us raise awareness for World Suicide Prevention Day and would urge any suicidal men in the North West and London, or their concerned family or friends, to get in touch with us.”
