Makers Market returns to Hope Street this weekend

This Sunday The Hope Street Makers Market is back in town and taking over Hope Street for a feast of local produce.

Located at the historic Blackburne House, just off Hope Street, right in the heart of Liverpool, you’ll be impressed by over 80 makers and live music from acoustic guitarist, Byron.

More artisans have been confirmed, than ever before, so expect an array of art, craft, drink and mouthwatering street food!

Chinese New Year celebrations also happening across the city at the weekend, with the big finale in China Town at 6.30pm so expect roads and car parks to be busy. For more on Chinese New Year in Liverpool head this way.

The event launches last year and now runs on the third Sunday of every month giving shoppers the opportunity to support local independent business and trade whilst also giving them the opportunity to spot some bargains.

This month’s marks opens at 11am and is open up until 4pm on Sunday 18th February with the next date for your diary being Sunday 19th March.

Blackburne House is an 18th-century Grade II listed building located on the east side of Hope Street. Originally a private house, it became a girls’ school and, after a period of dereliction, it is now used as a training and resource centre for women.
