Mamasan’s new Hip Hop and R&B night launches this week

Liverpool’s glamorous Pan-Asian hotspot, Mamasan, has revealed its Hip Hop and R&B night, Mama’s Mixtape.

The new Friday night event, launching on 26 April, is set to unite generations of music lovers with old school classics. 

Guests will be transported back to the golden era of the 90s and noughties, reminiscent of the days when their mums would spin their favourite tunes. Think Whitney, Beyoncé, Mariah and more of the biggest and best divas. 

In true Mamasan style, a special drinks and dining deal accompanies the evening. For just £39.95 per person for a two hour sitting, guests can dine out on Mamasan’s delicate Asian-inspired bites. Enjoy dishes such as Thai Fried Chicken with a zesty twist of gochujang, earthy Wild Mushroom Spring Rolls or a fluffy Katsu Chicken Bao Bun. 

Mama’s Mixtape special Friday night dining deal serves up 2 small plates, an appetiser, and a choice of 2 drinks, including special CBD infused cocktails in collaboration with Supreme CBD, beer, Prosecco or wine. 

Mamasan’s Liverpool venue boasts a stunning urban-garden roof terrace, the perfect place to visit with friends with panoramic views across the city. Mamasan’s spirit flows throughout the space, from a floating floral adorned staircase that spans the building to a unique sound system that’s inspired by Japanese listening bars. 

When it comes to drinks, Mamasan’s bar has an extensive drinks selection that showcases creative mixology, with inventive cocktails, including fine wines, craft beers, and premium spirits.

The bar’s mixologists are renowned for their indulgent classics and signature cocktails to wow; using fresh produce mixed with handmade shrubs, syrups and some molecular magic. 

From 26 April, Mamasan will bring weekly Mamas Mixtape evenings to spice up your Fridays, from 7.30-9.30pm.

Customers can book for £39.95. Guests will receive two small plates & two cocktails (or Prosecco/wine/beer).
